Your car will be even faster if you use exhaust...backpressure! Thats great it runs well, mine had a few bad parts.

backpressure isnt good for hp is it?? i thought it can add some torque..but the best exhaust for hp is..no exhaust...

anyway..i bought my engine locally from best japanese engine importers....standard price.. 1200 for engine/tranny/ecu...had to get a new starter...and ive had small problems..the tps was broken..so i used the one of my d16..and it works fine...i had to buy a 99si header..adn get bungs welded in it...still getting a little hesitation at low rpm...not sure if its o2 related..or possibly spark plug wires...i havnt replaced them yet....but most of the time it pulls really hard...

running an engine right off the headers are not good for the engine
u need back pressure u get the car and feel it faster...
i have seen quite a few engine blocks get cracked bc of open headers... we used to do it for election days.... and it snot cool..
btw congrats on ur new engine!

when my swap is done im going to have to run open headers...well i think im gonna take stock piping and cut it off after the resonator because there is a big mess of holes in the stock piping...i hope its not too too loud bu soon as i can afford an exhaust im throwing that puppy on im just not sure which i want yet...

i hooked my stock exhaust up to the b16 and it was soooo slow....i got a custom exahust made with 1 glass pack and a side pipe...no cat...for 70 bucks..didnt notice any loss in power...cut the noise in half...sucks for you guys that have to pass emissions..heh
