Thinking of selling my car...should I do it?
I have been thinking about selling my car. Not that I want to get out of the scene but just to start something new. I may save the money for a bit since I am in college right now, and do something with it later. I love the car. I dont really need the money but it just seems like It may be kind of a hassle. The car runs perfect. How much do you think I could get for this car? Do you think I would be able to ever find anyone to buy it. Cuz I know Jinx had problems trying to sell his.
Here are some pics of my car if you have never seen it:

look at my signature, that all took place in less than the last 2 years, so......As u can see, im all about sellin cars, so yes, i think u should sell it, and when yer ready , build another one.. thats the fun part IMO, when its done, sell it, but thats me. I like the construction of the car, thats all, but that may be because i was big into legos as a child , jk, good luck with the car
jinx had problems selling his car because he was wanting 20 g's (which is very fair for what was done to his car). Obviously most people don't have 20g's laying around for a civic..and at most you probally can only get 6-7k loan from a bank for that car.
Depending on what suspension setup you have I would guess you could get anywhere from 10,000-12,000.
I don't think you will ever get the money you want cause I'm in the same boat as you dude. They like it but the don't want to buy....I'm selling mine with all these extra stuff and no one wants it.car only has 69k on it,OEM motor has 37k, new motor B20T vtec 00k on it,racing slicks and some other stuff and thats alot. but no buyer so I'm keeping. aint 4 sale anymore I said to myself F#@k it I"ll just let them see tail lights...lol

its a hastle but it runs perfectly??????????????????????????
anyways. I wouldnt sell it. look at what youve done. if it runs fine, why not just keep it(specially since you dont need the money) just start saivng now and by something else in 2 yrs...then youll have both!
but if you really want to ditch it..then do it..
but I WOULDNT... kind of stupid too, with howmuch youve dumped into it !

I'd keep it, just save money to keep dumping in to make it bigger and better. I sunk over $15,000 in my 98 GTI and only got like $2K over book value when I sold it 2 months ago
