EG6 Leather Interior???
Someone on Facebook posted a couple pictures of his "Rare EG6 Leather Interior", not vinyl, leather. We(mainly me) have been saying its aftermarket, fake or that he bought JDM interior and wrapped them with leather. Someone said they are Canada Spec. and that there are only 250 sets made by Honda and that's why I cannot find them. As you can see in the pictures, there is a plate on the back of the headrest with what looks like part numbers. I have gone to a Honda dealership, Honda parts warehouse and called a Canada Honda dealership and all of them said that the numbers on the plate are not Honda part numbers(US said that they can only pull up US parts, Canada can only pull up Canada parts). I'm learning Japanese starting today so I can call them just to see if the seats are real or not ;-) SO, has anyone ever seen these seats before, know anything about them, know a website where they are selling/showing/talking about them? I went into crackhead mode at 5am today and still looking for any info.
I have seen it once in a USDM as well. If I remember right it was a 99 Ex coupe. I think it was something you could order factory but very, very uncommon.
If you loved me, you'd all sell me your magic cards to me today

There were only two markets that had leather interiors in a 5th Gen Civic: NZDM (stock interior in the GTi), and as a dealer optional accessory in UKDM. Canada/USA had vinyl (yuck) in some low-end Civic Hatchbacks, 1992 only.
Picture above is from a trunk box interior. These only came in Japan on many trim levels, and in Europe in the EG6 VTi. So, by deduction, vehicle is going to be a UKDM EG6 with the optional leather interior.
Here's a page from the UKDM Optional Accessories catalogue (for the Coupe):

I hope you find this information useful and if you feel the need to thank me, I accept Paypal.

Yeah: think pleated Dockers in the 90s but in leather, then put them on a seat. <shudder> The ones in the OP's pic aren't that bad though.
That was the leather style back then, though.
I know I say this a lot, but I'm a fan of EL rears and CL-S fronts. As far as I can tell, they're both real leather, and they're both comfortable as hell. I think there was an EL the same generation as the 5G Civic, it might be worth looking into for a more affordable rear seat option. Shipping from Canada is a hell of a lot better than shipping from Eurasia.

The difference between hatch/coupe and sedan rears is the side - sedans have extra side chunks that hatch/coupes don't have.
Just fact checking myself, evidently the 1G EL coincided with the 6G Civic, so there isn't a 5G civic version of the EL. There was a Honda Domani made concurrently with the 5G, but it was only available in sedan or 5 door - it might be an option for a 5G Civic sedan rear leather swap, but it might not work in a coupe/hatch. Same deal with the Rover 400.
The Izuzu Gemini (also called Stylus) was also made concurrently with the 5G Civic, and was available in coupe, hatch, or sedan, so that might be an option for all three bodies. I honestly don't know though, and I would definitely do some research before taking any of this post as gospel - I'm just using logic to compare cars built on the same chassis.

When I fist bought my Civic five years ago I did see the one's posted in the OP at my local junkyard. They were pretty beat up. I should have just bought them anyway. I have never seen another set around.
