Default Salvaged Integras

I'm in the market of buying a clean ls, rs,.or gsr. but everything...well not everything but MOST integras in my area are salvaged, either crashed or stolen. my last integra was hit and its a complete loss, it was a clean body, clean title, clean paint car and finding those three is tough for me to find. I'm thinking of just getting a salvaged car. what's your opinion? would you spend a few grand of one just to have the resell value so low? I thought my first integra would be my last, so I'm not planning on selling my next one. but I would feel weird about once having a clean one and now I have a "tainted"? one. just search for one that I want or settle for a theft recovery?

If you plan on leaving it stock/alone then maybe re-sale value is something to worry about. BUT lets say this is going to be a track car or project who cares lol you'll never get back what you put in. mine has a clear title but I wouldn't have not bought case of a theft/salvage. what is this car going to be for you ? DD or a track toy ?

The car will be strictly daily driven on city streets. if I do get a salvaged one, adding parts wouldn't really increase the value...would it? I do know in sport bikes, the extra performance mods do not add value over the value of the bike.

I do plan on adding all my aftermarket parts from my totalled dc, idk maybe it shouldn't matter as long as it wasn't in a wreck, wrecked cars to me are trash...theft seems not so bad, I just don't wanna regret lol

you wouldn't be adding much/if any real value to it. it's your call really if you're going to keep it for a long time i'd say go for it but if you plan on something new sonner or so then maybe hunt around a bit more.

It really depends on how bad it was wrecked, and whos fixing it. The age of these cars mean that most would be totaled out if damaged beyond simple fixes, like fenders or bumper covers. Any damage from the doors back will probably be a cosmetic total since tha cars value wouldnt be worth the repair costs. But ivenseen colbalts and such that are totalled, but all they need to be fixed is a fender, headlight, bumper cover, control arm, strut and wheel.... all bolt on stuff. Then a shot of paint. But u can get then at auction for less than a grand, with 60k on them. Even with parts and paint, you can have it back on he road for 2500 or less! Not bad, imo.

why would it matter if u dont plan on selling?

these cars are a dime a dozen, yah its hard to find one clean as possible and unmolested. but i buy them to work on them and make it to my liking. i thought my last integra was gonna be it, i sold it and bought a normal car.

it was out of my mind for almost 3 years then just one day, i went online and found a gsr. salvage title and had minor problems but ididnt care. the paint was good and only thing wrong was needed new fender and front end but didnt bother me. it felt good to be back in an integra so i bought it and swapped the motor and i dont plan on selling this one. if i get another car, i can just always make this a full track car.
