Help teg won't start no compression!
Hey I don't normally post but I have a 94 Integra LS. It is bone stock from the paper air filter to the factory exhaust tip. I have had an oil leak through the valve cover onto the spark plugs. It would start missing and I just put new plugs in it and everything would be fine. But this time it seemed like it started missing worse than before. So I bought all new plugs and valve cover gasket. I installed everything hoping for better mpg and no more leaks. When I went to start the car it turns over but won't start. So I went ahead and replaced the wires, cap, rotor, and ignition coil. I went to start it again and does the same thing. Turns over better than before but won't start. I checked the plugs they smell like gas and even look like they were firing.
So I towed the car to Firestone and they said the engine is just worn out and shows no compression. They said it was because of the mileage being 286,000 miles, but the car didn't smoke at all. It was running fine before this. One of my buddies thinks the timing may be off. But when I pulled the valve cover the timing belt didn't look worn at all. What could it be? I'm trying to decide if I'm going to keep this car or just part it out and buy something else. It's an auto and the tranny is sloppy anyways. But if all it takes is a timing belt to get it fixed then that's what I'll do

Turns out the timing IS off. I checked it today. Those are some real pros at Firestone.im doing a full timing belt replace with water pump and tensioner. Also doing a valve adjustment so it should be running better than ever after all this
