New 1989 Civic LX owner
Hello all,
I just picked up a one owner 89 Civic LX sedan last night.
It needs a little work.
Right now, when you start it (sometimes, and usually if its been sitting for a little while), the car will idle VERY rough and die out. You have to keep your foot on the gas for ten seconds or so before taking off.
It has the PGM-FI engine in it.
Where should I start looking to narrow down these issues?

But seriously. Take some pictures of the motor. Do a tune up. It's probably out of date on all of the basics.
