Drive Gear light blinking
Hi
have a honda civic 2006. For about a week now anytime I start the car and move for some few meters the drive gear indicator starts blinking.(Immediately I start it does blink)
This normally happens after parking the car for 5hours or more. If the happens this way I normally stop the car and start again and surprisingly it doesn't repeat itself

Are there any changes in the driving characteristics of the car when in drive? It could just be the bulb responsible for illuminating the cluster that's blinking if there is no loss of power or transmission slip.
I know sometimes this happens when over heating the tranny... like when you are trying to get out of the snow.
You should maybe bring it to Honda to check out...
