I was replacing some interior pieces and found some really crappy body work. Wondering if I should get a shop to repair it or just part out the shell and get another one. What do you guys think?

 

Are you talking about the seam seal or shock tower?

looks like it was rear-ended.

 

shock tower i would grind all that crap off it and see whats really there. The rear is hard to see from the picture but id do the same thing there

 

I have never done any body work...but I was thinking of grinding it away and giving it a shot....

 

Dont "grind" the metal as you could cause worst damage and take something from usable to replace. I would get a right angle die grinder and a rolox set up. Does the gaps around the rear bumper and tail lights line up ok?

 

If all the body lines line up and the bumpers go on good, and it drives straight and the alignment is good. I don't see why not keep it.
