Need a point in the right direction.
The R has to go. My insurance is about $475 a month. Its going up to about $565. I also got another ticket yesterday (yes I know
thats 18 points in less than 2 months)
Ok I have to get a car. What car should I get that will be cheeper on insurance but I can still keep my sanity driving?

If you can find any of the mentioned cars, these are great low-key cars (with huge tuning potentials):
1. AE86 ('84-'85) Corolla GT-S.
2. Mazda Miata any first gen under $5,000
3. "Classic" Sentra SE-R ('91-'94)... even '94+ SE/SE-R's aren't too bad
4. Mazda 323 GTX (turbo, all-wheel drive)
5. Celica All-trac turbo (probably not cheap to insure)
6. Dodge Colt ('88-'90 ?) hatch w/ turbo motor... can swap in Mitsu 2.0L-T.
7. The most obvious choice... EG hatch
I'm sure I've missed a few... but, all of the above cars should be cheap to insure (except Celica All-Trac turbo).

do what i did, im 19 with a 92 accord and a 98 type r, insurance for me is 180 a month and that is because i have the accord. What you do is get a shitty *** car and put down that its your weekday car and say the R is a weekend only car that saved me a shitload on insurance or else im sure it would be close to yours not 500+ but 350 at least so just buy a bucket and test that out might be a way to save you some money.

$565 x 12 = $6780 Insurance per year.
I would suggest you not drive for a while. Usually if you surrender your license for a year you can get rid of a lot of your demerits.
Even IF you get a cheap beater - your insurance will be high for several years - and that is ONLY if you don't get any more tickets.
Perhaps a radar detector should be in the budget too.

take west street about 6 miles and it should be on your left.... hope that pointed u in the right direction...
Chant 3 times then tap it with his middle finger.
say the lords prayer in reverse then open the box. In it you'll see a device. It will be your mate in the future. Some of us who already have it call it Valantine One.
I call it Escort 7500.
Geezus!!!
My insurance is less than $100 per month.
Air-cooled VWs are cheap fun. Only problem is that when you drive them you're air-cooled too. No AC.
