i am going to be doing some work on my lude soon like t-belt and what not. i was wondering if anyone had the specs for doing a valve adjustment? any help would be great. thanks

sorry, i don't know, but have you tried calling your local Honda dealer and asking?

oh, try http://www.helminc.com they are the people that publish the service manuals, they are a great thing to have around for stuff like this

 

I believe that exhaust is .007-.008 and intake is .006-.007..........I might have them switched though....

yep thats it. do the tightest clearance though, being .006 (I) and .007 (E)

 

thanks a lot guys....i really appreciate that. i am in the middle of doing work on it right now (timing belt, head gasket, water pump, oil pump ETC.). its been kind of a pain in the *** without a helms, so i think ill have to order one tomorrow. i been tearing it all down, and i just dont know what im getting into, so i better get the manual. i did although get a chance to check some prices...........WHEEEWWWW they are high on the H22!!!! oil pump is 161 bucks!! head gasket is 53 bucks, water pump is 80 bucks!! damn, i will be broke before its all over!!!! does anyone know it is necessary to replace the oil pump at 142K? anything else you would reccomend? thanks
