Howdy Ho from canada (1998 CRV adventure)
Hey guys new to the forum, Im English/half Canadian living on Vancouver Island and have just acquired a 1998 crv!!
shes got a lot of k's (300) but she cost me nothing so i am deff not complaining
I did just loose my beautiful vr6 golf last week in a scary incident with road debris so all is not good news but here we are.
I love the look of some of the v's you guys on this forum have lifted with the bigger tires so im hoping to do that to mine as I like to drive things that are a little different from the norm.
Ill upload a pic or 2 tomorrow in the daylight. The rear wheels are off right now as the wheel bearings are shot and im just wondering if I can do this job on my driveway without spending the 1000 dollars the garage wants to do it
I managed to loosen off the main hub nuts with a bit of heat today but the backing plate/hub nuts that go in from the back look a little tough especially without the use of an air gun. Any one got any tips for these bolts?
If i can get this done cheaply im hoping to get the lift on before the winter really sets inn!!!
thanks in advance and hello to y;'all
