Default HID ballast problem

So I have these HID headlights that came on my car when I bought it. I installed a CAI a few days ago for fun because I had it lying around and my drop in filter is dirty. When I finished I forgot to secure the ballast and since the airbox is not there anymore to support it, it fell out and dragged on the ground when I drove to work and back. Now my right headlight doesn't work. I checked my connections and they seem to be ok but I can't be sure. Also checked the fuse and it had blown so I replaced it and flipped the lights on. Still the headlight didnt turn on but the new fuse didn't blow either. Does anyone have input as to what might be my problem? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

You probably fried the ballast with it bouncing around and dragging on the ground. Replace it.

Just go back to halogen bulbs. You will have better light output and it won't look like crap

Remove the ballast and hid bulb. Go buy some good halogen bulbs($50-70) and install and then plug the factory plug into the back of the bulb

Oh yeah!!! HID's need a hid projector in order to surpass the light output of stock and that cost a couple hundred to do correctly.

As long as this mysterious previous owner didn't modify the stock wiring, yes.
