Brake Light Intermittently Comes On
2001 Accord EXV6
The brake system indicator used to come on for about 10 minutes after I started the car and drove. Now it comes on and stays on most of the time. I believe this is related to TSB 03-078 (Brake System Indicator Comes On and Goes Off).
I can't see the movement of the float in the reservoir because the reservoir is opaque. When I tap on the reservoir the light goes off. I don't like to assume but I'm thinking that I should replace the cap. I'm not sure what tapping does for the sensor or the filter.
