Hey all, gotta quick question. Does anyone happen to know what size hose this is or a good place to get some replacement line? I am doing a wire tuck and was looking to get a longer hose so i can hide the reservoir under the cowl and run a longer line, but I can't seem to find the size of the hose circled in the diagram. I don't wanna guess and buy the wrong size. Thanks

 

why don't you take the old hose or the fluid reservoir with you.

I would, Just not sure where i could get hose that I can get cut to length that's brake fluid safe. Wasn't sure if i could use a regular piece of tubing or if I had to get one that won't have the brake fluid eat through the rubber so I was gonna order some but i wasn't sure the size.

 

Ok, you most go to a race or speed shop normally they have several
sizes for custom applications.

No you can't use fuel or heater hose there is a special brake fluid hose. It's like braided hose in fabric outside and special rubber inside.

 

yeah thats what I thought. Saw ebay had some basic black rubber hose for brake fluid so I was gonna order some by the foot, but I'm not sure what size to get.

 

if you not have the old hose to measure the I.D. then with a caliper measure the O.D. of the fluid reservoir nipple.
