Default Prob Not a Common Q - J1 transmission LSD; I cant find one!

Ive been trying to do research on this for months, on and off..Trying to find a limited slip differential for my ''small spline'' J1 b16 transmission. I've done all kinds of google searches for an LSD that will fit into it with little to no modification, and I've come up empty handed almost every time - all the companies seem to make the differentials for the 92+ YS1 and/or big-spline/hydro transmissions. Does anyone out there have any experience with installation of an oem optional or aftermarket limited slip diff into the J1 transmission? If so, which company made it?

On a side note, I have read also that the Y1 ''optional'' oem lsd can fit, but I think it may lead me on a wild goose chase for the 'golden part' which I am attempting to avoid going on a long-drawn search for this part. I'd like to 'just order' it, if possible

From what I've read, the usdm Integra S1 is basically the same internally. You should be able to find a 90-91 integra lsd that fits.
I think this quaife will work, but you should call them to confirm.

For the price of a new LSD can't you pick up a used LSD transmission almost? I've been pondering the same sort of thing for awhile now.

I could do that, the only problem I have with doing that is it would lead me on the "goose chase" for the right part and a whole lot of trial and error and experimentation. Plus I want something stronger than stock lol for drag racing

I wouldn't waste my time with the small spline 90-91 tranny's, but like someone else mentined, the usdm 90-91 optional LSD's will work.

You are better off finding the newer 92-93 integra gsr, or even the oversea's short geared YS1...some with even came with oem LSD which is rummoured that Quaiffe used to do back in the day
