This was a major victory for me as I've always loathed the lack of a passenger side armrest on the 1st gen CRV.



There was a late 90's Isuzu Oasis (ie Honda Odyssey) at the junkyard yesterday and I pulled the passenger side armrest and bracket off. Lo and behold, the seat in my 2000 CRV had the holes for it to bolt up to. I just had to cut away a small section of fabric and foam and bolt it on. Color match is pretty close, good enough for gov't work anyway.

 

My crv came stock with arm rests for both seats. Is your's a 5 speed? My understanding is the autos got them, manuals didn't. Maybe someone stuck an auto drivers seat in yours before you got it

Auto here just have the drivers side gf complains about the passenger side not having the armrest i could careless. Im going to have to look into this.

If I make it back to the junkyard I'll grab the drivers armrest and bracket (same as the passenger) so someone on this board can use it.

the auto's came standard with just the driver's. the passenger armrest is an option for some odd reason. mine does not have one either and my g/f also complains about it lol

 

Mine doesn't care that it's not there, but it bothers me. haha.
So I'll get one in there eventually.

 

That's odd. Mine is a 2000 LX and has both.

 

I find whenever I drive this car I put the passenger side armrest down and use it instead of the driver side, it's just nice to spread out!

The 95-98 Honda Odyssey armrests will also fit, although the color match is not quite as good. Here it is vs. a factory armrest, with the one from an Oasis on the passenger side. I pulled an extra from my last visit to the junkyard, it's in nice shape. If someone's interested in it feel free to PM me.
