So I recently purchased a 97 spec R transmission. I look through the hole, and I see a cirlce ring where the bar would go, if it didntt have lsd. Is it quaife lsd or oem? my previous type-r transmission never had the ring thing. It would just be a clear solid hole.

also another, if anyone can identify for me PLEASE!

any idea what clutch disc is this? or flywheel? buying it from a local shop and he dont rember its been in a box for awhile, NEW never used.

Looks like the real deal to me. My quaife looks the same.

 

Toss that six puck and get a twin disc!

 

It is an aftermarket helical LSD. Quaife or MFactory. Doesn't appear to be an OBX.

 

Thank guys now I feel a lot better with what I got! It's my daily driver and traffic out here can kiss my *** . 6 puck with exedy pp I'm hoping it wouldn't be as tough. Can't imagine twin disc lol

6 puck, exedy PP, knock off flywheel, clutch feels STOCK! when in reverse, rpm drops low, when in 1st gear, somtimes....sometimes.. rpm also drops, when taking off in first gear without stepping on gas.. i guess its called chattering? or whatever... havent yet punch the gas and clutch, bc vtec not working -_-...
