First Jap Car !
Well whats happening just joined the forum, picked myself up an ej9 civic the other week for just £700. Couldn't have been in better nick for the price i paid, one dent on the back arch and that was really it.
Car was owned by an elderly fella since it was made in 96', the guy wasn't married or anything so the interior in the car was absolutely mint, Back seats had never even been sat on!
So i got it completely standard, hudcaps, original tapedeck etc.. Since then ive changed a few things. Sony radio and speakers installed in boot shelf, calibre vice alloys, debadged tilted the spoiler etc.. Will eventually buy coilovers and get her slammed but think ill have to wait until after winter for that. So heres a few pics anyway.
So this was her when i had just bought it

Give her a very quick clean and polish, was surprised how well the paint comes up after 17 years.

First thing i did was get the new alloys on, would have preferred to lower first but lifes a bitch and coilys are expensive. Went a bit mad and picked something completely different for a civic, probably won't be most ppls cup of tea but im going for something different so and im happy enough, Calibre Vice 15". Sorry about the quality btw, taken on my phone and not the best of weather conditions in Donegal lol.

So yeah this is the first forum ive joined, and hopefully going to start a progress thread from start to finish. Ive a lot of things in mind,ek9 front n back lip, recaro seats, full custom manifold and exhaust, ek9 spoiler, headlights, d2 coilovers, and maybe a b16 engine swap eventually... Shes only a 14i, no vtec
Thing is for the past year and few months i drove two french disasters, (Peugeot 106's). Never again am i touching anything french gave me nothing but bother lol the civic drives so much better than the peugeots, love it!
the list goes on, time and money is something i dont have a lot of as im only 19 and working full time in a call centre but ill get there eventually.
