Hello everyone. I bought a car today, and it is an integra type R automatic, and I can't seem to find any other such cars that exist.... Are Type R autos rare? If so what's it worth? I paid 3500 bucks for it and its got, 85,000 miles... So I'm wondering if I should resell? Thanks.

 

Automatic type r's DO NOT EXIST! At least not in this realm lol. Unless some1 put a type r motor in an automatic integra ls w the ls auto trans. Sry to rain on ur parade

 

It says type R on the body, and it has an automatic transmission in it...

 

I can put a Type R sticker on an LS, but that doesn't make it a Type R

 

i bet it has a sunroof too

Yes we r all telling u its not a type r! If it was a type r it would b a 5spd w a factory lsd trans n have a numbered plate

Post a picture of it. Either you have the 1 and only auto Type R ever made or someone's pulling a fast one.

 

That's an Integra RS.

 

It doesn't say RS anywhere on it. It does however have a red capital R... so I'm confused.

 

If i were there i could tell u on spot. If u wana post a pic of the engine i could more than likely tell u. Im gna say its an rs model w/o lookin at it

can someone tell me the difference between, RS, GS, GS-R, and R.. There also appears to be an LS... Is there a link that compares them all? I'll compare all the features of each one, and find out what my car is. Thanks

Me n typerfit alrdy told u the model. Its an integra rs! Rs, gs n ls all have the b18b dohc non-vtec motor, gs-r has a b18c1 dohc vtec n the type r is a b18c5 dohc vtec. This is all usdm models of course

 

didnt the type r only come in 3 colors anyways?

edit: never seen a red one before, guess theres 4 colors

 

White, black, red n yellow

 

Rs: Ls motor, no sunroof, no ABS, no cruise control, everything else power.
Ls/Gs: Ls motor, sunroof, abs cruise control (not on GS IIRC) everything else power
Gsr: GSR motor B18c1 dohc vtec, sunroof, abs, cruise control, everything else power
Type R: Type R motor B18c5 dohc vtec, no sunroof, abs, cruise control, everything else power
