Motor oil change being weird help please !
So I changed my motor oil myself & the oil filter . I used one small bottle of Castrol GTX 10w-30 oil . 5 mins after the change I checked the dipstick and there was no oil on it . So I turned the car on and let it idle for a little . I checked the dipstick again and the oil was half way up the stick , what could be wrong ? Also I put antifreeze in and then drove around the block for a little , came back home and checked it and it had like nothing in the radiatior , the overflow was bubbling too .

I think you are doing this wrong. You car needs almost 4 quarts (small bottles) of oil. Not 1. When the car is running, oil moves. The dipstick gets oil on it. You wipe off the oil and then put it back in and check it. As for antifreeze, did you bleed the system of air? You have to fill it, bleed it, fill it, bleed it, ect until there is no air. Then I usually put some in the overflow tank. There is a min and a max marked on it.

I refuse to believe that the OP is serious.

One is not enough. Hopefully nothing happened to the motor.
