My 94 EJ2 GSR Coupe! Skunk 2 Stage 2 Cams/ build thread
2001 Gsr Skunk 2 stage 2 cams, skunk 2 intake manifold, greddy 4-1 race header, DC sports twin loop, xxr 002, tuned on crome. Future mods 75 shot wet, i want to get k sport drags but i daily drive the car and figure that they would wear out fast. coilovers havent decided yet, Traction bar, s300, eventually a paint job, any suggestions or comments im open to whatever... u wont hurt me... the pics are from the day i bought it up to tonight when i put the foglights and steering wheel in.

USDM GSR ? future mods should include 11:5:1 CR pistons, those cams are over kill on even on a jdm gsr. I've always loved EJ1's right after integra's and the primer doesn't look half bad actually. dig the slight wheel poke also sooo the real question what did you make HP/TQ wise ? i'm guessing the 180ish WHP range.

Racevtech: as for turbo im more of a nitrous person myself. honestly i know about nitrous and not so much about turbos. and when it comes to turbo u find urself tuning alot and dont have that kind of budget. When i bought it the springs were cut slammed and u could not drive it. i got some ebay sleeves temporarily to raise it and now that i have more cash flow i am thinking about k sport drags but its a daily and i think they will wear to fast. I paid 3k for it.
B Swapped93: Thanks and will look into some pistons asap but first im gettin arp head and rod bolts for the nitrous. but since im already there might as well get em. How much are those ur talking about? and when i bought it there was ridiculous camber in the back (hellaflush) and i am not a fan so i brought the camber out and they poked out a little. That was with a 195/45/15 o since then put a 195/50/15 and they ended up poking out just right. i feel it makes it look mean.
Doctor and honda: the goal is to be around 8.0 in the 8th mile. and as far as budget whatever it takes to run that time. im not ballin so it will take a while but gotta start somewhere. and nitrous not turbo!!

Look at Progressive CS-II 350/350 great DD & weekend track car. But then again you are building it for the strip, so I can't really help you there.

i personally own ksports 750/450 on my eg hatch, they are a pretty stiff ride but i dd just fine on my 17" xxrs and 16" rotas. they hook up great to. virtually no squating and no bouncing like cheap coils.
I went with RS Machine pr3 pistons to get a nice 11:5 area C/R. I have tuner 2's and the car made 193whp, not bad imo yah i'm not saying don't throw them in but remember to upgrade the VT when you do and get it tuned right after.
RACE & CIVIC: Thanks for the suggestions! i figure its alot about personal feel so i like to get peoples opinions on suspension everyones is different. i think im leaning towards k sport. heard alot of good things.
BSWAPPED: 193 thats wassup.. thats a good number.. and i am really curious about daily driving a built motor? reliability? how long did it last? and how often did u race it! i know its different for every motor just curious. what valvetrain did u go with?

INSTRUMENT: i like them alot. mainly because it obviously dont have the corner marker gap! but they did take a lil customization in order to fir properly. but overall well worth it.
