Hello from AL
Hey all,
I'm new here from Huntsville, AL. 30 years old and married with a 1 year old. I'm the owner of an eg8 that is now in need of a new motor. Ill be finding out how swapping motors in these compares to swaps of big motors and diesels that i'm used to messing with. I'll be glad to learn from all the experts here. Thanks all!

swapping a motor/trans in the 92-95 chassis is a breeze. i had ZERO experience when i did mine. a couple buddies, a computer (just in case), a nice tool set/impact, and a 30-rack of beers it can be done in one night.
That's what I like to hear! It looks pretty straight forward by the looks of it. I can get the head off in 35 minutes without air tools (i've done this 3 times now) so I'm not too worried. Now to source a good ole d15. Thanks
That's tempting to get a little boost in power but his is my "just enough to get to work" car so i swore to myself to not start modding because i get too swipe happy with the credit card lol. Then my wife will kill me so I'm after a simple low mileage d15 just to be on the safe side... I've had about 15 hot rods from talons, mustangs, camaro's, grand nationals and small block s10s. I've lost too much money in my day
