motor rebuild or purchase dealer
has anyone delt with H.A.S. (honda acura specialist or www.haspecialist.com) out in the inland empire bought motors from them or had there motor swaped with a rebuilt one there? (for those of you that are not doing swaps in the immediate future and use it as a DD). looking to get my motor rebuilt or swaped out cuz the wife says that she wants to get a KIA when my car dies and i dont want this to happen i love my hatch.

I have no experience with H.A.S being from NY, however.... rebuilding motors is pretty costly. I mean, I think its more cost effective to just get a replacement JDM motor... like exact fit, not going up to a bigger motor, just say d16-to a-d16...
On a side note....my buddy just got the new kia....and I must admit, its pretty freaking nice. just sayin...
looks like a civic to me a bit

Re: motor rebuild or purchase dealer
900 one time vs a car payment every month plus higher insurance i think ill go with 900 one time and keep my car and be happy.
motor would stay a d16 till i have funds to do k24 build
i dont think it looks like a civic
