Default oil loss from headgasket?

well i have this problem with burning up oil. my friend told me he saw it blue coming out of my exhaust. i also did a compression test and some white smoke came out of the area. does this mean the headgasket is no good. and is that why i could be burning up oil?

maybe your rings are worn.

what colour are the tips of your spark plugs?

if you headgasket was leaking or went bad you will most likley burn engine coolant before you burn engine oil.....
