Possible Integra build?
Okay, so before you read any further I know that I am inexperienced and don't know all of the details of what I want but please bear with me. I am looking at possibly rebuilding my B18A1 in my 92 Acura Integra and I was wondering what kind of performance parts I should look into with a budget of $3500. This motor has never been pulled but I just did the head on it at 163,000 miles. It runs okay right now, but I really want to do a build on it especially a turbo build but I'm pretty sure that is far out of my budget if I was going to do it right. I thought about possibly swapping out for a b18C1 for the VTEC but yet again I don't know how that would fit into my budget. Would a swap give me the most power or just doing a really good head/intake/exhaust set up? Could I fit a turbo into this picture? Any kind of advice would be more than appreciated. Thank you
As far as power goes I would like to be getting 250 bhp. The thing is. without knowing whether I am going with forced induction or all motor and how I do either makes it kind of hard to make an estimate. I have read that under 400 bhp the stock sleeves on a b series can handle forced induction so I'm thinking that would be the easiest way to go, but I can't exactly drop $2,500 on a decent turbo kit either.
250 N/A ? lol you better have at least 4-5 grand ready to drop. find an ls(b18b1) for cheap and save up for a turbo kit 2nd hand you could probably piece together one for 2K give or take.
250hp on stock internals is perfectly fine. Your best bet would be to piece a kit together like B_Swapped93 said. Thats what I did when I built my setup, and it came out cheaper than buying a pre gathered one.

I'm thinking the easiest way to get the power I want would be to boost my b18a1. I would prefer this to really expensive head work but as far as cost efficiency goes which would be cheaper? And I have the stock b18 YS1 tranny with some pretty messed up synchros (previous driver). Is there anything I should do to my tranny to prepare for the 100+ hp increase? I'm thinking at least a new clutch, but idk what else would be prefered. Thanks for the link btw
Boosting will be much easier to get the power you want vs going all motor, just make sure you dont cheap out on the important stuff. (Turbo, waste gate, blow off valve, etc.)
If you plan on doing alot of launching id upgrade to at least a stage two 6 puck clutch if its going to be driven every day. I personally run a full face exedy stage 1, and its held up to my 300~hp, but I dont really launch my car or beat on it daily. As for the tranny, just replace the syncros, and make sure your axles are ok it should hold up fine to that little increase.

i would go H2B route. sell the b18A1 and go H2b. you will be happy with the stock power it makes and will be alittle easier to hit your 250 hp goal.
i did F2B and love it. thought about rebuilding my GSR motor but my brother told me go big or go home. and i was very curious what potential an F2B could have. and do not regret 1 penny. spent about $2000 getting it together.
F20B motor 200 hp man. version from HMO -$1006 picked up
QSD h2b Kit - $550
small parts here and there - $500+/-.
i still have room to improve and with out a doubt ill be able to get close to my 250hp goal
the swap was tricky and a bit time consuming, it was my first swap as well but i did a lot of research and im telling u.
my F2B swap beats any stock B series honda ive had. from a b16A civic to a GSR.
