Default d16y7 spark and fuel but no start

I got the car with one burnt valve drove it home on 3 cylinders
it started right away when it was at the guys house.
drove home pulled the head off and rebuilt the head cleaned and reseated valves and replaced burnt valve, new valve seals all clean resurfaced

fel pro MLS head gasket

timing belt is correct checked twice

distributor is where it was marked

everything else seems to be good all connectors plugged in no CEL no blown fuses

I put a clear cap on and the spark is whitish blue inside distributor

it feels like it tries to run once in a while

if you notice how it cranks unevenly

when I pull the plugs out it turns smooth with no hiccups at all

never came across this issue anyone know wtf is happening?

heres a video of it cranking. ive been trying to crank it for last 2 hours using all my tricks to start it no luck

Compression test?

Fuel injectors spraying fuel? Have you tried starting fluid?

CEL codes?

no cel codes and I cleared codes once none after that either

haven't got to compression test yet

theres fuel in cylinders all 4 spark plugs are wet

I tried some carb cleaner but it does same thing..

it drove before. I only took the head off and separated the intake manifold from head leaving everything plugged in.
t belt is on point. ive rebuilt about 5 of these shitsingle cams in last 2 years and they always been giving me major headache. even my built gsr started with off timing and whole bunch of other **** not adjusted first start

these damn d series are so fn sensitive to everything its retarded

im puzzled why it would stumble like that with spark plugs in. I thought I had sticking valves but it rotates easily and cranks free without spark plugs...

Time for a compression test.

Have you tested spark at the plugs?

can it be ignitor or the magnetic pickups in distributor?

theres some rust inside it I haven't looked too much into it but the coil was pretty rusty and the screws are rusty too.
I put a good coil in to see but still nothing. mm gonna have to swap the innards tomorrow with good ones.

Check spark at all 4 SPARK PLUGS.

Are the plug wires installed in the correct firing order on the distributor cap?

yep I always forget the order so I look it up every time lol

I will check that tomorrow. u think a bad spark plug wire can do a trick like that?

maaan I hope its not compression issues in gonna go hulk smash on that bitch.

Seeing spark in the distributor is meaningless if it doesn't reach the spark plugs. Always test spark at the plugs.

If spark is fine at the plugs, then it's compression test time.

And haha about the hulk smash.

I already did that to my del sol once. and my 2000 dollar laptop.
so I hope that damn engine senses whats coming tomorrow and better grow a seal around that lost compression or something cuz its gonna get a hammer of gods stuck in its head if I find out that I spent all this time and money and its still broken...

just went back and checked some more inside dizzy the magnetic pickup was covered in rust. looks like it had some major condensation inside it previously

car got lucky today...

checked compression its definitely not the best. 195 170 180 195

measured wires good
took apart dizzy and checked everything and cleaned the rusty cyp pickup and set correct clearance to rotor
replaced the ignitor that was pretty corroded

**** started right up

now have to clear srs light no engine codes tho almost ready for emissions.

srs module was bad once I replaced that light went away.

put a del sol muffler axle back on it and it bolted right in just had to bend the hangers an inch or so back... love cheap fixes.
