My check engine light flashes code 43, I have a fresh fuel filter and pump, I bench tested my o2 sensor and it's good. I have an anjustible fuel pressure regulator and am not sure what it's set at and haven't been able to pressure test, could that be it?? And if not what else should I look at?? Thank for the help!!

No need to guess. Measure the fuel pressure to verify. The poor gas mileage and code 43 suggest that the fuel pressure is too high. A stock FPR would ensure that the fuel pressure is correct, and your engine definitely does not need an adjustable FPR.
