Radiator fan won't run!!! Works when switch connector is jumped
So I'm having issues with my 1995 honda civic coupe. The radiator won't turn on at all. I put leads on it directly from the battery and it turns on. I shorted the ect switch to see if my relay was bad, it turns on. So I replaced the coolant switch, and the sensor for temperature, the one under the distributor. So I'm not sure what's wrong. Could anybody help me? I really appreciate it.
I checked the fan relay, and it works when I short it. I'm not sure if there are other fuses I should be checking. Would flushing the radiator help any? Both of the hoses going from the radiator to the engine are hot as hell when the car gets going.
Bleed the cooling system.
Bleeding the cooling system may take 20-30 minutes.
1) Park the car on an inclined driveway with the front end higher than the rear.
2) Push the dash heater lever/**** to MAX heat.
3) Follow the directions in the diagram below (hint: the bleed bolt is located where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine):

So I flushed the radiator system, and still nothing. Am I running out of options? The radiator hoses are still hot as hell.
unplug the Fan switch connector and use a jumper wire on the two pins of the connector and see if the fan turns on if not then ether the relay if toast or your missing the ground at the connector.
get a IR temp gun there cheap now and it will tell you how hot it is getting.
you can also check the heater hoses. make sure thay are routed correctly if not you will feed colder coolant from the heater core past the fan switch instead of hot coolant from the head buddies Honda never used the fan tell we corrected the misrouted hoses
