Hello Honda - Tech! I am a new poster but not a new member. Being as this is my first post I cannot upload the pictures of my new ED9 that I picked up earlier this week. Paid less then 1k for it. My plans are to do the basics, fat fives, lower, tint, and drive. I'll probably do a swap in the future if the motor goes up, which is likely being as it has 350k on it. However, it does run decent given its age and miles. Drove it 2 hours home and it didn't miss a beat. I'm looking forward to updating my progress on here. I will add a few pictures of the car once my full membership goes into effect. Thanks for reading and check in later for pictures!

 

Aw Another lost to stance and lowlife. I will still watch it because I love the EF civic.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I've always wanted a EF/ED as a project. As far as the pictures go, which way is easier? Photobucket or uploading on here? BTW, tires, short throw, and new bitch pin is on the way!

 

Okay, so I updated my garage and uploaded some pictures of the car. Hopefully it doesn't look this bad for long.

 

Uploading on here is the easiest for me. Photobucket isn't hard either.

 

Okay, I'll probably try both ways. BTW I'll be heading to the junk yard tomorrow for parts. Hopefully I can get some pictures up.

 

So has is a little update of what I did to the car this weekend. Took those ugly 17/18 off and put on some fat fives with fallken tires. Fixed the exhaust leak, which looks like someone's effed up "repair". And finally, I fixed the bitch pin. Tried to replace the axle but the shock fork bolt (if thats what its called) was not coming out. This weekend I'm headed back to the junk yard to find a replacement front lca and shock fork. The car cleaned up pretty nice as you can see in the last picture. Still needs a lot of work but I'm happy because at least it is drivable.

 

I like the rim change man. Keep her clean and keep us updated!

Update. The motor smokes....a lot. I feel like I'm driving James Bond's car puttin up a smoke screen! So, of course, I decided to swap it out. Bought a b18b1 with 120k from a local pick and pull. Gunna start piecing together all the little crap. I'm currently in the process of buying some MADD motor mounts from a member on here. If anyone has had experience with these mounts please give me your feedback. Lastly, I fixed the blower motor so I won't freeze my *** off this winter and took the evaporator core out....**** was r12 anyways. Here are a few pictures of the engine. Nothing special. Oh and if these pictures are huge, I'm sorry. Feel free to rip me and tell me how to fix this.
