Selling ITR and need opinions on price
I was a member years ago and just rejoined the site. I’ve finally decided to sell my ITR. It’s a 2000 PY with 37K miles. It was in perfect condition until an accident. It currently has front end damage which extends into the radiator. I’d like to sell it and am trying to determine a fair price. It is mostly stock except for a few modifications including a built-in roll bar. I’d appreciate input on its value. I realize it’s not an easy thing to do without being able to check out the car but any help is appreciated. I saw a shell and a salvage in the 4 sale thread going for between $4500 and $5500. I would think my car is comparable. Below are some pics and a link to a website I set up to sell it. Thanks for your help!

U should be able to fetch 4-5 pretty easily. Im assuming the interior is in nice condition and it has the 5lug with rims. Sad 2 see frame damage tho. Still rebuildable but probably not worth the $.
It looks like it'd definitely be doable if someone were to want to fix back up. The 4-5k range seems like a decent price if you don't want to go through the hassles of parting it out.
probably get more parting it out. low mileage engine/tranny swap pieces etc are worth a few K. interior another few k. suspension, brakes, wheels another K or so...
i see similar money either way. you'll get $3500 for the full swap, $750 for the 5 lug, maybe 1000 since you have konis, and $750 for the interior and cluster
if someone would pay $5000 for the whole it saves you the labor of pulling parts and dealing with a scrap shell
might make a little more parting but you'll have to do the labor and have to deal with more honda idiots trying to talk you down under market value

My suggestion is to part things that are worth a good penny then sell the shell.
to the right buyer with deep pockets if that mileage is accurate and if the compression and leakdown are perfect he may get 4000-4200 for the swap
problem with these cars is so few people who make real money are into them
all kinds of $10/hr 20yr old dudes that want the stuff, they just can't afford to pay
I know that it does not answer your original question, but quite honestly I'd keep it since it's got such low mileage.
I know it's been sitting for 6 years now but...unless you really don't have the money or you really don't want it anymore, I say fix it even if it takes you a while, the damage is not that bad, it really looks worse than what it is.

Idk if it has AC or not but if it does id check to make sure the compressor for it didn't get pushed into the block or warp anything. It show you got PS so id do the same thing to the PS pump. If its all good then id sell the whole car, in my OPINION (with all of the damage) I figure you could probably get at least 3500 for the whole car. but if it damaged the block id just drop the engine and part out everything.
I sure as hell wouldn't mind a project like this even with damage to this extent but youd prolly be banking way more just parting out.

^ What he said, fix it! I hate to see the whole car go to crap just because it needs a new front end. Insurance isnt helping you fix it? I mean 37k original miles, come on! Dont let it go to waste!
transmission is part of the full swap. $3500 is the going rate for the engine, trans, axles, harness, all sensors. when they come up people usually ask for and negotiate down around that 3500 mark.

Since you said you have no time nor space to part it out, I would sell it and take no less than $5K for it. That swap alone, if it's not damaged, is worth $4000 - $4500 all day long. It's a USDM swap that comes with paper work proving it's not stolen and on top of that, it only has 37k miles. These things don't come up for sale everyday. Kitsune's post above is also correct, price will probably be higher in certain locations. I'm sure in high refereed states, a USDM ITR swap price with this history would be much higher.
Personally, I wouldn't fix it; I would leave that decision up to someone else. Do your self a favor and sell it as is.

they are nuts. you can cross the border to canada and buy complete jdm front ends for 4500. that's an entire running type r car cut in half. dash, engine,%
Its very tempting if I was in your area id definetly take it of your hands. I say sell it as a whole im sure you can get 5-6k atleast since its low mileage.
