Default TRANSMISSION QUESTION

I have an 01 automatic ex that I bought with a bad trans. Since its d series and the d has been around forever, what are my options? Will a trans off of a y8 work? Thanks in advance for any help.

Your options are 01-05 Civic Sedan/Coupe D17's. That's all. If you go with a non-EX transmission, you'll need to look at the wiring/ECU.

No previous generation D-series transmissions will work.
