Default chipped p75 or p06?

good day guys, just like the title says. i have a p75 ecu and a p06 ecu i would like to chipped but i would like to know which is better. its going to go on a 95 civic with a b18b1 engine swap with the basic air intake, headers and 2 inch pipe exhaust. its a daily driver i just want to get the most out of it with the basic set up. i would also like to go ls-vtec but thats in the future. thanx a lot in advanced and if anybody lives in southern maryland that can do it for me even better.

The P75 is OBD2 isn't it? I may be mistaken. The P06 will definitely work out for you if you plan on chipping it and tuning it for your set up. Without tuning it, it's just a best guess based on your set up.

thanx man. the p75 is obd1 from a 1995 integra, they are both stock ecu. i was doing some research and they say that they need to be socket and stuff that kind of lost me but i'll keep researching.

I Would go with the P06 since the P75 is a little bit more rare to come by and since your B18 is not vtec the P06 will do just fine.

I suggest the P75 over the P06 becuase you can install a jumper on J1 (like I do) instead of a wire and by removing the jumper, your ECU will revert to stock which is for a B18 engine like yours.

PM me if you need the ECU chipped.

Chipping is easy, if you don't know how to do it you can research or have someone else do it for you.

You don't need another ECU to get chipped. I can chip either one of the 2 you already have. I can also convert them to VTEC and turn off this feature in the basemap until you swap in a VTEC head. Then all you have to do is actívate VTEC in the program.

it doesn't matter which one you use if you're going to chip it.

Essentially. Use the P06 because the P75 has a better sale value as a stock ECU.

Getting an ECU chipped should be cheap. If I had a chip burner I'd get into that business.

Not usually, but in this particular case, having the P75 chipped with a jumper on J1 will allow him to bypass the chip and run a stock B18 map on his B18 engine if the chip or chipping circuitry fails.
