Has anyone ever ran this spec of wheel on an r? Any input, suggestions, etc. would be appreciated. TIA

 

Yeah, that wheel will fit. Tire selection is rather poor (in the hi-perf offerings), but otherwise it'll fit.

I'd rather run a 16" wheel as you can get pretty decent tires in a 205/45 and 215/45 and not have a rubber-band sidewall like you would with a 17" wheel.

 

yes, i run this wheel specs for years now

17x7,5 +45 with a 215/40 tire

Little rub on full lock, but other than that, they worked just fine!
