Anyone who has a eg hatch whoses into speakers, I need your help!

I can't seem to find anywhere on here or online on the mouthing depth of the front door speakers and rear panel speakers. So I finally went on crutchfield and they said 1.9" front and 2.775" rear. Any can confirm this??

Also anyone have deeper depth than that and what modifications was needed to be done?


Also just to confirm on size its 6.5 front and 5.25 and/or 6.5 rears right??


Any help, suggestions, etc will be greatly appreciated!

 

Here is what crutchfield said to me in another email:

The front depth as it is from the factory is 2.025". If you cut out the factory mounting bracket you can increase that to 2.775".

In the rear speaker location, the available depth is 3 inches for the 5.25 speakers."


Any ideas or knowledge about this?
