ok so i have a 98 civic hatch with a 94 integra gsr swap the bottom end started knocking so i yanked the motor now what would be cheaper rebuild or buy the crv motor an put my gsr head on it an what crv engine should i go with the vtec was never hooked up was like that when i bought it so got the sub harness from rywire an a obd jumper from 2 to 1 need help lost dont know what to do dont want to get rid of it cause 4 year old daughter loves the car an wont let me

B20vtec/ ls vtec is not cheap. I say just rebuild the gsr is cheaper.

 

Just rebuild the GSR bottom end if you're looking for the "cheaper" and "easier" option. You will spend more money on a B20 shortblock, Vtec conversion kit and other components compared to rebuilding your GSR. All you need is bearings and possibly a crank. $250 max.
