I am working on my first import engine I am a very good mechanic when it comes to American cars ie 289 ford 350 chevy carb engines so on.....
I am building a zc sohc vetch engine starting from scratch I have a d series 5 speed but no ecu or harness is the p28 and vetch harness obd1 what I need to use.next question I want to boost any ideas how to get the most horse power out of this engine and web sites to look at.... my goal is to have a 1994 Honda civic destroy American muscle of the line
thank you if you can help all and any good info is great please keep unwanted info out. mind you yes I know there are engines that put out more horse power than this and I have one (3.2 type s) but wanna work on a cheap and easy engine first to learn.

p28 ECU and OBD1 VTEC harness should work. The sohc ZC uses a p70 ECU, but if you are going to boost you will have to chip and tune the ECU anyway.
