Speed TV @ 8 for Touring cars...
I am impressed with the speed of the Mazda Protege's. In the past two years, they have done very well with their development of the cars. Hopefully, the new Realtime RSX-S will do well next year since it is brand new and doesn't have a weight penalty like the Realtime ITR's. Good race... GT race is about to start.

Damn, me and my oldest boy were hoping Taz would continue to advance though the field... guess there was too much "rubbin' in the racing" today... He gave it a hell of a go though.
to the first and second place Realtime DC2Rs...
My 10 year old was wondering "...since when did the Protege's get so fast?"

Damn was watching World Series......... watching GT cars now
I laughed... I cried... I cheered... wow, what an awesome pair of races... and freakin Peter came out on top in both!! Cunningham IS the man!
As far as the Protege's, seems like I read somewhere that they are the furthest from stock-spec as far as their engines are concerned in the Touring series. I could have just pulled that outa my ***, but I could swear I've read that somewhere. Pierre just about had a photo finish for 2nd there at the end with one of them!
And how about that RealTime RSX! Battling it out with Taz who unforunately colided with Kevin Schrantz there near the end. Did anyone else see the RSX out-corner the pair of silver bimmers too in one of the turns near the end of the race?
all and all a great pair of races!!
edit: oops, spelled Taz's name Tax

Actually, I believe you're right. From what I have heard, the Protege is allowed many more engine enhancements as opposed to the DC2 R's that have a bunch of restrictions

the JDM motor puts out 170hp, they've got a difference of about 50hp over the stock motor...
