I received some papers in the mail about it. The class action lawsuit says it covers 2006 and 2007 Honda Civic and 2006, 2007 and 2008 Civic Hybrid.

I don't want to have the work done and then not be reimbursed.

 

It's done under warranty, so no you won't be reimbursed...cause you don't pay in the first place.

 

I had to have the work done two years ago... so I definitely sent in the paperwork. Mine was definitely not under warranty, but they gave me a bit of a price break when I had it done. Glad to get the paperwork, though who knows if they'll actually honor anything? It said in the papers that they would decide in October if they lawsuit would pay out or not, (not sure how you know if they decide?) and that the deadline for sending the papers in was January 2014, so it's unlikely they would pay out before then anyhow.

If you have the issue, definitely get it fixed, it totally wrecked my second set of tires. Maybe now that there's a lawsuit about it they're doing it free in the dealships?? No idea.
