Hi chap.
what to look out for on a bottom end.2.2 Ha.. just bought a Accord type r with engine knocking..
im going to source a new bottom end.. i need to know what to look out for.
is it true a type r crank can not be reground.

get the block then have machine shop check specs, or if you can then do it up. you need a feeler gauge and many other measuring devices. as far as being reground? micro-polish maybe. there is not much room to play with when it comes to the crank.
