Manual problem and i cant find a solution
I just got into a honda. Finally. And i can find out why its doing whatever it is. What happens is. When my car is on. I can move through gears with no clutch. But it wont go anywhere. When i apply the clutch and try with the car on, it wont shift at all. My friend and i got underneath it today and there is a metal rod comig from the bottom of the stick goin into the tranny. My friend says thats what he thinks is wrong with it. But im not sure. Any help from you pros would be a delight.
I'm assuming you meant it shifts ok with the car off, but not running.
Generally either the clutch master or slave cylinder has failed. Somewhat less commonly the clutch disc itself will spit a damper spring and it will get jammed between the disc and the flywheel preventing the clutch from releasing. Less common still is a destroyed throwout bearing.

Well it shifts while itss on aswell. The only time it doesnt shift is when the car is on and the clutch is fully pressed. And its cable not hudraulic
