2003 Accord 2.4
Hello,
I was test driving a used 2003 Accord (202k) the other day and everything seemed fine. I agreed on a price with the seller and was taking the car to get it a "once over". All of a sudden, the engine started cutting out like the car was out of gas. However, the engine would kick back in. I figured out that this was happening around 2800RPM and happened even when the car was in park.
The local dealer said it sounds like a timing or fuel pump issue. My research here points towards a solenoid:

I'd like to get some input from here on what the problem could be and if I should steer clear of the car.
Thanks
