Recently, my dads accord started quitting on him at very random times. It doesn't seem like there is a pattern to it yet, but from what I've seen it only does it when it is warmed up and has been running for 5 to 10 minutes.
Before this started happening, it quit on him and wouldn't start back up at all. We replaced the fuel pump with a cheap autozone one, which could be part of the problem, and it started back up after that. But after installing this pump and starting the car it will just quit around 10 minutes and not start until the car has cooled down.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what to check? Is there a good way to test a fuel pump for 5 to 10 minutes to see if it is overheating and cutting out?

Well for anyone interested or having the same problem, it was the igniter that was going bad. I guess it would overheat to the point that it would just quit, but once it cooled down it would keep working.
