Default Question on removing the drivers side lower motor mount

I am getting ready to install all the A/C parts I have gathered/ordered from Honda, and would like to remove and paint the lower motor mount/A/C mount before installing everything.
The service manual goes over removing it; but does not say anything about needing to support the motor. I do not want to put a lot of stress on the upper mount. Do you all usually put a jack or other support under the motor when removing the lower mount?
Thanks!

you can just lower the upper driver mount and be fine, if worried get a jack and a block of wood and support it under the oil pan

Thanks. Sounds like a good idea to support it and not put too much stress on the upper mount.

The two upper mounts (trans and driver side) and rear mount are what hold up the engine. The lower mounts are just suspension/vibration mounts. No need to support the engine with a jack when replacing them.
