I dont know much about adjustable cam gears but I've been looking to buy a set this week.

Does anyone have any suggestions for which brand and size I should buy for b18c1?

So far i have header, test pipe, 2.5 exhaust, short ram, intake man, underdrive pulley kit....also on the list soon, fuel injectors (once i figure out which ones i want)

 

They all do the same thing...advance/retard timing. Buy whatever you want...

From your short list of mods, having adjustable cam gears won't do a damn thing....

 

any reason why you think you need it or injectors? golden eagle I feel has the best gears on the market.

 

waste of money even with entry level cams it still is you're no where close to needing them.

Those are almost impossible to find, and no you can't have mine.

If you like vernier scale, then Toda.

If you're cheap, them skunk2.

If you like rare Jdm ****, then Asport.

Get cams that require/benefit from adj cam gears....in other words highcomp N/A OR TURBO....pick your route

You''ll need a higher compression engine something like 12:5:1 or above but that isn't cheap, you could also turbo the car.

 

Turbo it before i do internals? bottom and top

 

low comp pistons for turbo. High comp pistons for N/A. there are turbo specific cams out there afaik gsc makes them then there's a benefit possibly but the hang up on adj cam gears is not needed I was like that at first then started speaking regularly with my tuner. Have learned LOTS talk to someone who knows their **** it's well worth it.
