Stupid noob oil question

Icon2 Stupid noob oil question

Soo the person I just purchased my hatch from says to use strictly 20W50 or I will mess my engine up.. Thoughts? Advice? Built b16, hx40 turbo boosting 17.5 pounds.

If he has the bearing clearances to use that, then do so. Valvoline VR-1 20w50 "Blue" oil. Good idea.

send your oil off to get analyzed, they generally make recommendations based on results
