hello, i have a 91 accord dx and been trying everything to figure this out.
i can turn the key and crank all day but it dont fire at all, i can let off and
crank again and it will fire but not start, i can let off and crank again and it most of the time starts on 3rd time if not fourth time.

new parts are : main relay,new honda distributor, iac,high idle,ecm,fuel pump
also did some wiring repair on wires under floor around computer area.

 

-Spark plugs? With correct gap?
-Injectors need cleaning or replacing?

 

yes i did that also.

 

Does it run ok after it starts? Kinda sounds like a fuel delivery problem. How many miles on the engine? May just be geting old and worn out. You take care of them but, their just a machine and machines wear out eventually, no matter what you do.

 

Test the engine coolant temperature sensor. Just do a search for instructions.
