I'm flushing my power steering fluid and replacing the pump as well. I don't want to be short on fluid. Can anyone please tell me how much fluid do I need to buy? Thanks.

 

Well, I checked out the web and found people were using at least 1 but no more than two 12-oz bottles. I bought three just in case. First, I flushed the system completely. It was dirty -- dark brown. I used one bottle to use as a cleansing fluid run through. It came out lighter than dark brown. So I know it did some good. Then I replaced the pump with a good used one from a salvage store that I trust. It took a little more than 1 and 1/2 bottles. Hardly any bubbles. It's running as smooth as the new one.
