I saw a picture of a Mugen wing and need more info. It is not the one currently available from King. It is shorter than the stock ITR wing and looks very flat, possibly carbon fiber. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks

Its is nothing that is avaible from King at this time. Not as short as the GSR wing. It might be the first gen wing but I haven't seen one before. I saw it in Modified Magazine on a green right hand drive integra owned by a Greg Leone of Pro Drive Competition Products.

i can only think of 2 wings from Mugen. The current one thats adjustable and the 1st gen one that comes straight down like the stock one to the back side of the hatch.
matt:
there was first gen mugen wing. Looked similar to the stock wing 'cept it flipped up on the rear, top edge of it. Also has Mugen badge on both sides. Could it be that one?
If so, I can get a pic of it later today.

Matt if this is the one it will be tough to find as its been discontinued for almost a year now. If it is not this one I'm guessing its either a Fake Mugen wing or maybe one from another car model that they fit onto the integra.
the current mugen wing adds a little more downforce, but not much. The big thing is that the sides of it help stablize for turns and braking. I have felt a noticablly stable difference on the butt dyno when going through a corner. Oh and I saw a flow chart
.
The wing isnt shorter than the current ITR wing or if it is, its not that much. The Mugen logo is stamped on the side. Th middle is alum-lite or an aluminum piece and the sides are standard moldings. 3 way adjustable for different downforce levels.

He's a real Honda tech
His wing was beat up pretty bad, his body shop did a great job of fixing and painting it.

shi - who dropped off some stuff to have painted at the same body shop last night

Sorry guys it wasn't either wing. It was shorter than both maybe 5 inches off of the deck lid, I'll try to scan a picture.

Matt,
You mentioned the Mugen wing on Greg from Prodrive's car.
The wing on his car is an authentic Mugen item, made for a Civic sedan and modified for use on an Integra.

I Wonder if it would bolt directly up or if the holes are off a little, The SI and ITR Wing look similar Anyone ever try switching them between cars to see?

I call these types of wings "snow holders" cause in the winter that is what they do, hold snow
They make it difficult to clean the snow off the trunk of your kaa.
