I love my Honda, but I hate this noise!
Hi all, I have a 2004 Honda Accord Lx automatic with about 186,000 miles on it (mostly highway miles). Anyway, I just recently noticed a vibration when I stopped at the light, my steering wheel and everything was shaking. I had a mechanic replace both the front and rear mounts and they both fell apart as soon as he removed them. Anyway, that helped with the vibration
or so we thought
. I still feel a vibration in the car and I noticed that it was worse when the car was cold and when I went in reverse. I am going to take it to a different mechanic to see if they can help me, but I always want to get advice from other people so that I can know if what I am being told is wrong with my car is somewhat accurate.
Any ideas?

You might want to read this link (pdf on page two). It seems to be a common problem.
