1989 Honda CRX Si – ZC swap

This is a sleeper style, street RACE CAR.
FYI - Race cars do not have AC.

If you're looking for cheap transportation to get to work, this may not be the car for you.
However, if you are a street racer looking for a new project that has great bones, read on...

This 1989 Honda CRX Si ZC swap was my daily driver from the time I finished building it (2006) until 2008 when I took a job in NY. It's mostly been parked in a warehouse ever since.
This car is 100% complete, and comes equipped with the following;

* JDM 1.6L DOHC ZC Engine
* JDM ZC 5 Speed Manual Transmission
* 88 Integra ECU
* CenterForce Street/Strip Clutch
* Drive Shaft Shop CV Axles
* DC Sports 4-2-1 Header
* K&N Air Filter w/ 4" Intake

Also comes with the Honda dealer CRX repair manual, custom car cover, and MANY spare parts. Owned this awesome car for 7 years, but no longer have time for this hobby because of my job. Needs paint, and minor work to be perfect. Great project car that's looking for another Honda enthusiast.
$1650 – No trades please.

You mentioned this is a street race car which is what I am looking for as I am a street racer also. Would I be able to pull on corvettes and mustangs on the freeway in this beast? Also is this racecar currently safe without a roll cage and fire extinguisher for spirited driving?

He was calling it a racecar to justify not having AC I think...Its a street car no doubt, has full interior, lap belts, four brakes, no rollcage,etc,etc,etc.

You say tomato, I say......

lol this thing probably puts down 110-120 at the wheels. Yeah its light but still a 14 second car. I had this motor in my rex before i got a b16. It was decent but not crazy. In order to beat a vette you need over 300 to the wheels. I had 390 in my DC and could pull vettes from a roll. Never got to race a Z06 but it wouldve been close.
Still at $1600 this is a pretty sweet deal. Throw a $500 ebay kit on this thing, make 230 wheel and it will be a lot of fun. Should be able to tap 12s with the power in a light crx.
